What a year lies behind us! Together with you, we would like to look back on what we experienced and achieved in 2023. That’s why we have summarized our memories in an annual review.
In 2023, we continued to pursue our mission of bringing more diversity to the startup and business angel landscape! This is precisely because there is currently less investment in diversely managed companies. Instead, we are calling for courage and determination to mobilize more players and more capital for the innovation landscape in Germany and change it for the better. Because only together can great things be achieved.
2024 will be a challenging year for start-ups and investors in Europe, but also a year full of opportunities. The cautious investment climate in 2023 has led to VCs accumulating considerable funds. This “dry powder” now needs to be invested, but not at any price.
This is why many investors will continue to focus on sustainable expenditure planning and profitability in 2024. Growth at any price is no longer a viable strategy. We see this as an opportunity, especially for female founders. Experts agree that special attention will also be paid to early-stage financing in 2024. In addition, the fascination with sustainable business models and AI remains unbroken. In particular, the development from basic models to real applications and verticalization will continue. Growing regulatory control requires start-ups to skillfully navigate between innovation and compliance, especially in the AI sector.
We look to the new year with optimism and are determined to further expand our reach in 2024 to make an even greater impact in the world of investors and founders.
